| Installation Requirements: | Self-installed measures with a rebate level greater than $1,000 and all applications over $20,000, and 5% of remaining applicants will be inspected.
Funds can be reserved for a period of 180 days as long as the application includes an expected date of project completion.
Customer must have an active account in WV with either Wheeling Power Company, American Electric Power or Appalachian Power Company. |

Summary:
AEP/Appalachian Power offer commercial and industrial electric customers in West Virginia rebates on energy efficient lighting and HVAC equipment. Measures can be installed by a license contractor participating in the network of self installed and inspected afterwards. Once work is a completed by the contractor and the paperwork has been submitted, a rebate check will be sent in under 45 days. Eligible items include T8 Upgrades, HPT8 Upgrades, T5 Upgrades, LED Upgrades, CFL Upgrades, Occupancy Sensors, Pulse Start Metal Halide Lighting, VFD Installation, Air Conditioner Upgrades, Heat Pump Upgrades, Water Cooled Chiller Upgrades, Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner Upgrades and Programmable Thermostats.
