Summary:
Through the Home Performance with Energy Star program, Focus on Energy offers in-home energy audits and cash incentives for installing select recommended efficiency measures. Energy consultants inspect home energy systems, help identify the most effective measures for increasing home efficiency, and assist participants in applying for incentives. Incentives are available for insulation and sealing improvements for 33.3% of improvement costs up to $1,500. WPS Customers receive double rewards equivalent to 66% up to $3,000. Customers whose installation measures result in 15% energy savings will receive a $200 bonus, and customers with 25% energy savings will receive a $700 bonus. Customers who meet income requirements may be eligible for an additional 15% off Focus on Energy's incentives, for a total of 90% off eligible air sealing and insulation improvements up to $3,500. Interested customers should begin the process by scheduling an energy assessment with a Home Performance Trade Ally. Information about selecting a Trade Ally is available on the program web site.
