Summary:

Cedarburg Light & Water (CL&W) offers rebates to residential customers for a variety of energy-efficient equipment and upgrades. Through Wisconsin Focus of Energy, CL&W provides extensive incentives for energy saving measures to be undertaken at apartments and condos. Rebates exist for both new and existing apartments and condos and generally include HVAC upgrades, energy efficient lighting, and custom measures. In addition to the rebates provided for apartments and condos, CL&W also offers general residential customers rebates on water heater, furnace, and boiler upgrades. Increased incentives for these items are in place for income-qualified customers through the Home Heating Assistance Program. See the program website for eligibility information.

Finally, through the Home Performance Energy Star Program, one third of the cost, up to $1,500, of energy saving whole-house improvements will be covered by CL&W. Common measures taken in this program include air sealing and adding insulation, lighting replacement, and installing efficient showerheads and faucets. An additional rebate of $200 is available for homes that achieve energy savings of 15 percent, while homes that reach 25 percent energy savings are eligible to receive $700.
