Summary:
Through the Home Performance with Energy Star program, Focus on Energy offers instant rewards for installing select recommended efficiency measures following a home energy audit. Energy consultants inspect home energy systems, help identify the most effective measures for increasing home efficiency, and offer an instant reward on completed work based on recommendations. Rewards are available for insulation and sealing improvements for 33.3% of improvement costs up to $1,500. Customers whose installation measures result in 15% energy savings will receive a $200 bonus, and customers with 25% energy savings will receive a $700 bonus. Interested customers should begin the process by scheduling an energy assessment with a Home Performance Trade Ally. Information about selecting a Trade Ally is available on the program web site.
Income-eligible residents may participate in the Assisted Home Performance Program. Interested customer must first apply for income eligibility. The program begins with a free home energy evaluation. Based on the results of the evaluation, customer will install one or more measures with the help of Focus on Energy. Customers will be eligible for 75% of projects costs up to $2,500, as well as free CFLs and water-saving devices. Click here for additional information on participating in this program.
