The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Attic and Ceiling Insulation: $0.15/sq. ft.
Windows: $4/sq. ft.

ENERGY STAR/ECO-Rated manufactured home: $800
ENERGY STAR rated Stick Built home: $1,000 Refrigerator/Freezer Recycling: $30
Maximum Incentive:Incentives will not exceed 50% of the actual measure cost
Equipment Requirements:Electric Water Heater: .94 EF minimum
Insulation: New insulation that increases the R-Value by R10 or greater
Windows: .30 U-value maximum
*Must meet the efficiency requirements on the program website
Installation Requirements:Eligibility for Replacement of Electric Straight Resistance and Weatherization measures require a review of your Avista electric and/or natural gas usage to determine space heat use during the previous heating season.

Avista Utilities Home Improvement and New Home Construction programs offer a variety of incentives encouraging residential customers to save energy in their homes. The rebates listed apply to residential homeowners in Washington who heat homes primarily with Avista electricity or natural gas. Incentives vary depending on technology, and generally apply to both existing and new construction homes. Interested customers should review the website for more information including individual equipment requirements and to access application forms.
