Summary:
Texas-New Mexico Power's Commercial Solutions Program provides incentives for the retrofit installation of a wide range of measures that reduce customer energy costs, reduce peak demand, and/or save energy in non-residential facilities. Incentives are paid to energy efficiency service providers on the basis of standardized savings (formulas for measures in representative building types) or on the basis of measured savings.
The SCORE program targets energy efficient upgrades at school facilities and the CitySmart Program is designed to assist local governments with energy efficient improvements. Both programs help participants identify energy efficiency opportunities in existing and newly planned facilities and to provide monetary incentives to help implement the projects. The programs are funded by the Texas New Mexico Power Company and offered at no cost to participants. No products or services are sold through the CitySmart or SCORE Programs. Customized energy performance benchmarking, energy master planning workshops, technical energy efficiency assistance, communications and public relations support, and cash incentives are available. Additionally, lighting retrofit projects may qualify for additional bonus incentives. Contact TNMP for more information on these offerings.
