Summary:
East Central Energy (ECE) provides rebates for residential customers to purchase energy efficient equipment. Rebates are offered for recycled refrigerators/freezers, central air conditioning units, HVAC electronically commutated motors (ECM), HVAC system tune-ups, air-source heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps, storage water heaters, and storage space heaters. In order to be eligible for heat pump and air conditioning rebates, installations must be completed by a certified HVAC contractor registered with ECE.
Used fluorescent lamps and high-intensity discharge lamps are also eligible for $0.50/lamp recycling rebate offered in conjunction with participating hardware stores.
