Summary:
Moorhead Public Service Utility offers the Bright Energy Solutions Programs for commercial and industrial customers that purchase and install qualifying energy-efficient lighting, VFDs, and cooling equipment in existing facilities. The lighting rebate program offers rebates on energy efficient fluorescent T8 or T5 lighting with electronic ballasts, high bays, high performance (super) T-8s, pulse-start metal halide, compact fluorescent lamps, LED exit signs, and lighting controls. The cooling equipment rebate program offers rebates on central air systems and chillers, packaged terminal units, window air units, heat pump water heaters, and other cooling accessories.
Rebates are also available for custom measures which reduce a facility's energy demand. Custom rebates are project specific. For each project, the rebate is designed to make implementing the energy-saving measure an attractive investment to the customer and at the same time, is limited by the value of energy savings to MPS.
