The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Maximum Incentive:Room Air Conditioner: limit of 2 units per account
Lighting: limit of $15 per customer per year
Equipment Requirements:Refrigerator: must be ENERGY STAR® rated
Dishwasher: must be ENERGY STAR® rated
Central A/C: must be ENERGY STAR® rated with a SEER of 14.5 or higher
Room Air Conditioners: must be ENERGY STAR® rated with an EER of 10.8 or higher
Installation Requirements:To apply for an appliance rebate customers must fill out an AMU rebate form and attach a copy of a dated sales receipt. Rebate forms must be submitted within 6 months of the purchase date.

Anoka Municipal Utilities (AMU) offers incentives for residential customers to install energy-efficient appliances and light bulbs in eligible homes. Rebates are available for Energy Star qualified central A/C units, room air conditioners, compact fluorescent light bulbs, refrigerators, clothes washers, dehumidifiers, and dishwashers. Some restrictions apply to this program. All equipment standards must be met in order to qualify for a rebate. Customers should contact AMU or visit the program web site for full details and application forms.
