The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Northern Municipal Power Agency, in collaboration with Minnkota Power Cooperative, Inc., offers rebates for non-residential customers to improve the energy efficiency of eligible facilities. Participating utilities are listed below this summary. Rebates are available for lighting measures, heating and cooling equipment, food service equipment and refrigeration equipment. All heating and cooling equipment must meet efficiency standards located on the program application forms. Rebates are limited to $15,000 per customer per year, and forms must be received within 60 days of equipment installation. Review the program web site or contact your local participating utility for additional information on this program.
