Citizens Gas of Indiana offers rebates to its residential customers for the installation of several types of efficient natural gas appliances. Rebates are generally available for residential homes and multifamily properties of 12 units or less. Customers in the Westfield area and Marion County are eligible for a number of similar rebates; however customers should note that these rebates differ slightly. View the program web site to see Westfield and Marion-specific incentives. Eligible improvements include furnaces, boilers, programmable thermostats, and water heaters. All equipment must be fueled by natural gas and must also meet minimum equipment requirements established by the utility. Rebates are also available for the adoption of Energy Star Standards in residences.
Rebate applications must be received within 60 days of equipment purchase. Equipment must be purchased within the dates specified on the program application forms. Citizens Gas reserves the right to verify sales and installation of eligible products and may conduct random site inspections for this purpose. Interested customers should see the program web site or use the contact information below for more information.
