The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Equipment Requirements:Boiler: 90% AFUE (if less than 300,000 btu/hr input rating); 90% Combustion Efficiency (if greater than or equal to 300,000 btu/hr input rating)
Boiler Modulating Burner Control: Minimum 5 to 1 turn-down ratio
Furnace: 95% AFUE or higher; must use Natural Gas for all space heating
Tankless Water Heater: .82 EF or higher
88% TE Water Heater: 75,000 btuh or higher; must hold 75 gal or more
Boiler Tune-Up: Boiler Sizer and tune-up details must be provided; rebate not to exceed cost of tune up
Steam Trap: only available for the replacement of steam traps that are leaking steam

Summary:
Vectren Energy Delivery offers commercial natural gas customers in Indiana rebates for the installation of certain types of efficient natural gas equipment. Prescriptive rebate forms must be postmarked within 90 days of equipment installation. Please consult the program web site for additional information about program requirements, eligible equipment, and applications.
 
A custom incentive program is also available for projects that do not qualify under the prescriptive rebate program. The Business Custom Rebate Program offers $0.50 per therm for projects that have less than annual savings of 7,500 therms; $0.75 per therm for projects that have an annual savings greater than or equal to 7,500 therms but less than 25,000 therms; for projects with an annual savings greater than 25,000 therms, $0.75 per therm up to 24,999 therms and $1.00 per therm for each therm 25,000 and above. Contact Vectren for eligibility requirements and for maximum incentive amounts. Customers interested in the custom rebate program should contact Vectren to see if a potential project will qualify for a rebate.
