Summary:
Tipmont REMC customers are eligible for rebates for the installation of efficient water heaters and air-source and geothermal heat pumps. A rebate is also available for the recycling of older, less efficient refrigerators and stand alone freezers. Air-source heat pumps are eligible for rebates between $150 and $450, while geothermal heat pumps are eligible for a $500 rebate. Water Heaters with a capacity of 80 gallons or less are eligible for a $50 rebate and systems with over 80 gallons of capacity are eligible for a $100 rebate. Heat pump rebates are only eligible for single-family residences that are occupied year-round. All necessary proof of purchase information is required. Customers are also eligible for rebates from Wabash Valley Power Association. Review all program information on the web site listed above.
