Summary:
South Central Indiana REMC, a Touchstone Energy Partner, offers incentives for residential customers to save energy in participating homes. Rebates are available for central air conditioning systems and air-source, dual fuel, and geothermal heat pumps. Rebate amounts vary depending on the efficiency of the equipment installed. The rebates apply to equipment installed in a new home, replacement equipment, and to the conversion from an electric furnace system to a heat pump. South Central Indiana REMC also provides its customers with discounted prices on energy efficient water heaters. Equipment must be installed by a licensed, full time HVAC contractor.
