Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Water Heaters, Heat pumps, Central Air conditioners
Eligible Renewable/Other Technologies: Geothermal Heat Pumps

Amount:Central Air Conditioner: $200 - $300
Air-source/Dual Fuel Heat Pumps: $150 - $400
Geothermal Heat Pumps: $1,000
Replacing Electric Furnace with New Heat Pump: $400 - $1,000
Water Heater: discounted price when purchased from the REMC
Equipment Requirements:Central Air Conditioner: SEER 15 or higher
Air-source/Dual Fuel Heat Pumps: SEER 15 or higher
Geothermal Heat Pumps: EER 15.1 or higher
Installation Requirements:Equipment must be installed by a licensed, full time HVAC contractor

Summary:
South Central Indiana REMC, a Touchstone Energy Partner, offers incentives for residential customers to save energy in participating homes. Rebates are available for central air conditioning systems and air-source, dual fuel, and geothermal heat pumps. Rebate amounts vary depending on the efficiency of the equipment installed. The rebates apply to equipment installed in a new home, replacement equipment, and to the conversion from an electric furnace system to a heat pump.   South Central Indiana REMC also provides its customers with discounted prices on energy efficient water heaters. Equipment must be installed by a licensed, full time HVAC contractor. A copy of the sales invoice must be included with the rebate application form.
