The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Ameren Illinois (Electric) - Residential Energy Efficiency Incentives

Incentive Type: Utility Rebate Program
Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Lighting, Central Air conditioners, Programmable Thermostats, Duct/Air sealing, Attic, Crawl and Wall Space Insulation, High Efficiency CFL Lighting
Applicable Sectors: Residential, Single Family
Amount:New Construction Builder Incentives: up to $2,400
Appliance/Freezer Recycling: $50
Programmable Thermostat: $25
Central Air Conditioners: $100-500
CFL Lighting: Multiple incentives
Air Source Heat Pumps: $100-500
ECM Fans: $200
Home Energy Audit: Varies by program – includes free CFLs, and depending on home fuel type, high-efficiency showerheads and faucet aerators
Air/Duct Sealing: $.40 per CFM up to $1,000
Attic Insulation: $.50 per SF or $.40 per SF based on existing insulation level up to $800
Wall Insulation: $.80 per SF up to $1,200
Crawl Space Insulation: $3.00 per LF up to $1,200
Rim Joist Insulation: $1.25 per LF up to $500
Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Silver or Gold certificate to recognize the successful completion of a whole house retrofit project.
Maximum Incentive:Lighting: Purchases limited to 20 CFLs per customer per year
Equipment Requirements:Refrigerators/Freezers: Must still cool, and be 10-27 cubic feet in size
Central Air Conditioners: SEER 14.5 minimum
Air Source Heat Pumps: SEER 14.5 minimum
HVAC equipment must be SEER 14.5 or higher
Home must be heated by an Ameren supplied fuel for insulation and air sealing incentives to apply.
Installation Requirements:Insulation and air sealing must be installed and completed by a registered, BPI-certified ActOnEnergy Program Ally.
