The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Solar Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in the summer of 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new DSIRE and are unfortunately only able to make minimal updates to the DSIRE website at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for using DSIRE.

The Community Office for Resource Efficiency (CORE), a nonprofit organization promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency in western Colorado, offers residential and commercial rebates within the Roaring Fork Valley for the installation of photovoltaic, solar hot water, and micro hydro systems. Solar energy systems must be installed or signed off by a COSEIA or NABCEP certified contractor.

The program is sponsored by the Community Office for Resource Efficiency (CORE), in partnership with the City of Aspen and Holy Cross Energy, with funds from the Renewable Energy Mitigation Program. A loan program is also available for solar projects, but not in conjunction with this rebate program. Additionally, rebates will not be provided for systems already receiving a rebate from EcoBuild or Xcel Energy.
