Summary:

Burbank Water and Power (BWP) offers the Home Rewards Rebate Program, which provides incentives to residential customers for installing energy efficient equipment in eligible homes. Rebates vary according to equipment technology and location of purchase. The following equipment is eligible for rebates through the program:

Clothes Washers
Dishwashers
Refrigerators
Room Air Conditioners
Central Air Conditioners
Low-E Windows/Doors
Whole House Fans
Solar Attic Fans
Ceiling Fans
Pool Pumps
Attic Insulation
Wall Insulation

In order to receive a rebate for refrigerators, the existing refrigerator must be recycled. To receive a rebate, Burbank residents must fill out the Home Rewards application and send it to BWP's Conservation Group along with a copy of receipt(s). Submit application no later than four months after purchase.

BWP also administers the Green House Call Program, a complimentary service for residents of Burbank that provides free energy efficiency analysis, weatherization, light bulbs, A/C tune-ups, and duct sealing. Finally, BWP conducts a refrigerator exchange program for income qualified customers which replaces old inefficient units with new energy saving models
