The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Modesto Irrigation District - Commercial New Construction Rebate Program

Amount:Whole Building Approach: $425/kW reduced or $0.08/kWh reduced
Systems Approach (Lighting): $250/kW reduced or $0.04/kWh reduced
Systems Approach (Other-Durable): $500/kW reduced or $0.10/kWh reduced
Systems Approach (Other-Variable): $350/kW reduced or $0.07/kWh reduced
Maximum Incentive:50% of the incremental cost of the project(s) included in the application.
The maximum annual payment cap is determined per account, by the applicable MID electric rate schedule: $15,000 (GS-1); $25,000 (P-3); $50,000 (GS-2); $125,000 (GS-TOU); $250,000 (GS-3); $500,000 (IC-25).
Eligible System Size:To be eligible, must be a major remodeling or new construction project that reduces electricity by over 10%, is in use for more than five years, and is completed within a year of submitting the rebate application.
Equipment Requirements:Almost any project that involves installation of new high-efficiency equipment in new facilities or during the major remodel or expansion of existing facilities may be eligible. Details are listed on the program application.
Installation Requirements:The rebate applicant is responsible for submitting measurement and verification plan.

The MPower Business New Construction Rebate Program is available to commercial, industrial, or agricultural customers that presently or will receive electric service from MID. Accounts billed on FL or SL rate schedules are not eligible for this program. To be eligible for this program, replacement projects must meet the following requirements: reduce electrical energy usage relative to the baseline, operate for a minimum of 5 years after installation, not be completed prior to submitting an application, and be completed within one year of submitting an application with a minimum rebate amount of $250. Customers should choose the rebate amount formula that gives them the greatest value for kW reduction during peak periods and kWh reduction during the first year. Rebates will be paid in one or two installments depending on the performance period.
